The H Wind Turbine 1kW is the rugged, standard model for
the average household. As a horizontal-axis wind turbine (HAWT) with
a powerful permanent-magnet generator, it reliably supplies energy to
households, workshops, farms, and off-grid locations.
The kit includes all mechanical components, such as the rotor, generator,
rotor ring cover, tail unit, and stainless steel fasteners. Electronics such as
A charge controller for battery charging or a plug-and-play inverter is available as an option.
What is the difference between the H1000 and the H1000Mini?
The key differences:
– The H1000 has a larger rotor diameter
– H1000Mini a larger number of rotor blades
The impact of these technical differences:
Due to the larger diameter of the 3-bladed H1000, it begins to rotate at lower wind speeds and reaches maximum power output sooner! However, as can only be seen in the noise curves, the H1000 is slightly louder than the H1000 Mini at higher wind speeds (see also → Wind Turbine Wiki at the bottom of the page)
