Hot water energy saving set

Reduce the cost of hot water with our economy sets through targeted use of the circulation pump.

Suitable for any type of central heating system, but especially for a heat pump

Savings of 1-10 kWh per day (depending on the setting of the circulation pump and pipe insulation)

Only switch on the hot water circulation pump when you really need hot water. Otherwise, the water cools down continuously as it circulates and has to be reheated unnecessarily. The circulation pump also consumes electricity unnecessarily!

You need:

  • 1 radio relay or one radio socket (can be connected to max. 10 radio push-buttons each)
  • 1 radio button (on/off) per tap or bathroom, ideally with time-delayed switch-off

How does it work?

  1. Connect radio relay or radio socket to continuous current (230V) or to the circulation pump output of the heating (230V)
  2. Connect the circulation pump to the switching contact of the relay or plug it into the radio-controlled socket
  3. Attach wireless push-button e.g. in the bathroom (stick it in the area of the washbasin) –> Wireless range approx. 35m
  4. Couple the push-button with the radio receiver (radio relay or socket)
  5. Set automatic switch-off delay (default 3min=180s) –> 15/60/180/1800/3600 seconds selectable

ready.

When you enter the bathroom, press the radio button (On). The circulation pump is switched on and within a short time you have hot water in the tap. After 3 minutes (or another switch-off time), the circulation pump switches off again. You shower longer? No problem, the hot water continues to run as long as the tap is open!

Adhesive strips for mounting and adjustment instructions are included!
Batteries (CR2023) for the radio buttons are not included (will be added in Var. 8)!

Note: Always have work on the power grid or your heating system carried out by qualified personnel!
