2-Axis PV Solar Tracker – Up to 40% More Energy Yield
Maximum performance thanks to automatic two-axis sun tracking. Ideal for
balcony power plants and small off-grid projects.
- +25–40 % increase in PV output thanks to precise tracking
- Storm—Emergency Position at 17 m/s or higher
- For standard modules up to 4.5 m², e.g., 2 pieces measuring 1134 mm x 1962 mm x 30 mm (≈ 1 kW)
- Installation of >modules (4.5 m²) is possible –> However, this is not recommended due to structural overload!
- Complete kit, including foundation plan and control system
- Available immediately from the Wremen warehouse
Why a 2-axis PV tracker?
fixed mounting systems, you’ll generate more energy over the long term.
Up to 25–40 % higher energy yield
Precise tracking along two axes optimizes the angle of sunlight throughout the day.
Here’s how to get significantly more power out of your modules—especially in changing weather conditions.
Ideal for
- Stand-Alone Systems & Off-Grid Systems
- Research Projects
- Home Balcony Power Plant
Fully automatic & low-maintenance
The control system is based on heliocentric sun position determination. The tracker operates fully automatically
and is designed for continuous operation with minimal maintenance.
The bearings and connections are made of galvanized steel and should be lubricated regularly
No professional maintenance staff is required;
if any problems arise with the equipment, replacement parts can be installed on-site immediately.
The drive options we offer are designed to meet IP65 protection standards
The structure is made of aluminum, with parts made of stainless steel (SUS303) or galvanized steel (≥80 µm zinc coating)
that offer high strength and are largely corrosion-resistant.
Items Included in the ECOTracker Kit
The kit is complete and includes all the mechanical and electronic components needed for assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How much more electricity does the PV tracker generate compared to a fixed system?
A: Depending on the location and time of year, the increase in output compared to a fixed installation optimally oriented toward the south is approximately 25% to 40%. The increase in output is particularly significant in the morning and evening hours.
Q: What happens during a storm or extreme weather?
A: The system is equipped with an automatic wind sensor. If the wind speed exceeds a defined threshold, the control system immediately moves the tracker into a flat, horizontal position to minimize its surface area exposed to the wind.
Note: In stormy weather with wind speeds exceeding 17.2 m/s, it is advisable to remove the solar modules
Q: Do I need a building permit to install it?
A: In many federal states and regions, small ground-mounted systems up to a certain height do not require a permit. We recommend checking with the relevant local building authority.
